Today 25 people found guilty of Heresy were burnt to death. The most serious of these is Mitt Larsen whose heresy is compounded by his free access to children. He alone remained unrepentant throughout his questioning and trial, displaying with pride his secular humanist views.

As with all Heretics, however, he was given a last chance to renounce his wickedness and, so, find his way back to the fold. In a three hour confession session, described later as “grueling,” he chose not to. And so Larsen will pay for his crimes, and his punishment will serve as a deterrent to other evil doers.  We take no pleasure in these televised burnings. This is why we can proudly hold our heads high knowing that we treat all our criminals fairly, while the Heretics claim a sickening victory for every soul they damn.

As we look back on Larsen’s life we find a man who was severed from the fold at an early age when he fell prey to the evil found in books. Through reading unauthorized texts he was seduced by the wicked lies of round earth, the fabled land of Eeorup and that most pernicious lie – that we are not the Creator’s Children but are, instead, descended from Apes.

So gripped by wickedness was Mr Larsen that he sought to spread this evil. He trained to be a Community Elder and held secret sessions where he corrupted others with the works of the Devil. Some as young as 10 years old.

At the time of his arrest the police also discovered works from known sympathizers of the enemy – Chomsky, Dawkins and the like.

And so it was an act of poetic justice that these works were used as the kindling for Larsen’s pyre.
